This Jaguar XKE is for the purist who doesnt mind the occasional tuned up car to go faster on the road or on the track. This Jag is equipped with a non matching numbers engine but still retains its original 4 Speed Transmission it has a newer XJ6 Engine with bigger valve and higher compression Lightweight flywheel 3.8 Intake Manifold with Triple Carb Stainless Steel HP Headers New Master Break Cylinder Bigger XJ6 Brakes Koni Shocks all around Aluminum Radiator Piper Cam Fast Road Camshaft Electric Cooling Fan 410 Rear Axel Ratio Front Sway Bar 2 Full Exhaust all the way back Mid Dampers and Straight Piped all the way back. Estimated to be pushing close to 300hp this Jaguar is a blast to drive anywhere in the world.
The previous owner was a ship captain and chose to drive this car all over the states when at port. The overall vehicle shows patina both inside and out and falls into the category of a survivor.
The Interior benefits from the front seats being refoamed and recovered in black leather the headliner as well as the rug will need to addressed in the future but aside from those items all gauges and lights are in working order and responsive.
The exterior shows tons of patina throughout the rear quarter panels show some light rust and damage to due someone attempting to put wider tires in the rear at some point in its life. The vehicles undercarriage is rust free and presentable showing normal wear as one would expect. Recent Service Performed New Battery New Anti Theft Power Kill Switch Installed New Tires and Wheels.
